Zoom Groom Zoom Policy

Every Client will be asked  to read and sign Zoom  Groom  Zoom’s Policy Agreement prior to any grooming services being performed.  This Policy Agreement will be kept  on file for the life of our relationship.  Every pet will require its own Policy Agreement, if not originally noted below.  Client hereby entrusts pet(s) to Zoom Groom  Zoom  for the purpose of grooming services.  Any adjustments made to this policy will be updated on the website (www.zoomgroomzoom.com) or notated on the business Facebook page (Zoom Groom Zoom).  An email notification of the update may be sent out but is not the responsibility of Zoom Groom Zoom, LLC to advise client(s) of any updates in person or in writing.

Payment Info

Payment is due at time of service.  Zoom  Groom  Zoom  accepts Cash, Check, Zelle or Venmo payments (currently 0% service fee if you set up with a debit card, if you select a Venmo service and a fee is added, you will be notified and responsible for that fee).  If you are not home at time of groom or unavailable to provide payment at time of drop off for any reason, payment is expected to be received within 12 hours of original appointment time via Zelle or Venmo. If payment is not received, a $25 fee is billed for every 12 hours that payment is late.  This fee needs to be paid PRIOR to setting up next appointment.  Checks are to be written to "Michelle Bragg".  There is a  $30 fee for NSF/returned check. If a check is returned, client will be expected to pay for all future appointments with cash only.

Cancellation Policy / No Show / Trip Fee

On rare occasions, Zoom Groom  Zoom  may need to cancel your appointment due to equipment failure, weather, illness, etc. Every effort  will be made to contact Client in advance to reschedule.  If Client cannot keep their appointment, please contact us AT LEAST 48 hours in advance. Failure to call 48 hours before your appointment or failure to have your pet "available" at the scheduled time will require you to pay a cancellation fee of 50% of service that was to be rendered at that time.  Fee will be added to your next scheduled groom and/or a Paypal invoice will be sent out requesting payment.  Pet availability includes but not limited to, Zoom Groom Zoom not being unable to obtain/"catch" your dog if left unattended upon arrival.  Ultimately it is Client’s responsibility to keep track of their scheduled appointments; however,  Zoom Groom  Zoom  will make a courtesy email  and/or text message at least one-business day ahead  to confirm  and remind you.  If Client is 15 minutes late or more arriving to Zoom Groom Zoom's location or does not provide dog upon arrival within 15 minutes, your appointment is considered cancelled and the cancellation fee will be added to your next scheduled groom and/or a Paypal invoice will be sent out requesting payment.  Since 95% of my business involves travel, it's very important for me to stay on schedule.  It's important for everyone to respect everyone's time.  Our mobile unit(s) require a 20 amp fuse / outlet to power, most houses are equipped with this voltage; however, if your home/condo/townhouse/apartment/business is not and we are unable to power all of our necessary equipment to perform the groom efficiently, you may be charged over charge fees ($25 an hour) or we may have to stop the groom and collect at least 50% of the grooming price.  It is important to be able to run our AC unit while drying our pets, it gets too hot here in GA to have to turn off our AC during the drying process, especially when some dry times can exceed an hour.

Appointment Times

An appointment time is truly an ‘estimated time of arrival’. Arrival time will be in a 1-2 hour time span.  As a mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions and delays, such as, but not limited to: Refueling, traffic, driving distance from  previous appointment and running over on a previous appointment or running ahead of schedule. If Zoom  Groom  Zoom  feels they will be more than 30 minutes early or late, Zoom  Groom  Zoom  may make a courtesy phone call or text to Client to advise them.

Key on File Service

Zoom  Groom  Zoom  offers a ‘key on file service’. Client provides Zoom  Groom  Zoom  with a key to keep on file, a garage code, or some other form  of access to the home, Zoom  Groom  Zoom  will come by at your scheduled grooming appointment time to care for your pet and Client just leaves  a form  of payment. We can keep a credit card on file.  We will get authorization to run the card prior to the grooming appointment.  Any issues that may occur, the Client will be called, and any extra amount due will be discussed at that time.  Zoom Groom  Zoom  will not be held responsible for damages or theft to Clients home or property while on the service call for grooming your pet(s).

Matted or Neglected Coat

Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate,  or cause skin problems such as, and not limited to;  redness, lesions, sores and/or scratches. Additional time to de-mat is $50.00 an hour (this amount is not prorated) outside of the "normal" 2-hour grooming session per dog.  This fee may not be discussed until after the groom is complete.  Client is aware that neglect of the pet’s coat can be cause for problems after grooming such as clipper/brush irritation. If Client’s pet does not remain still accidents can happen such as, cuts, nicks, etc. from  clippers or scissors.  However, it is at Zoom Groom  Zoom’s discretion to determine if it is safe for the pet to be de-matted, if not, a “shave- down” of the pets coat will be completed. Shaving your pet my dramatically change your pet’s appearance and the hair will be very close to the skin. This may expose pre-existing skin conditions.  Client’s pet will receive a shave down & start over  (additional fee for shave down.) Closely shaved pets are also prone to sunburn & should either have sun screen applied daily or should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows sufficiently to protect the skin. In some cases pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. In certain breeds & coat types, the coat may not grow back the same. Removing a heavily matted coat includes the risk of nicks, cuts and/or abrasions due to moles, warts or skin folds trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet’s skin which can cause mold, fungus, bacteria or skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. The after-effects of mat rem oval procedures may include itchiness,  skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, or failure of hair to re-grow. Client is responsible for the condition of the pet’s coat  and will not hold Zoom  Groom  Zoom  responsible in the event  of adverse effects of mat removal.
